ESTREIA DO NOVO ALBUM
Frank’e, started working with electronic music in the leat 80´s. Frank made his names as DJs, influenced throughout the eighties by bands such as Kraftwerk, Front 242, Tangerine.KLF and Nu Beat, After releasing their first single on Where’s is the party recordings , Koxbox came to the notice of DJ Sven Väth who signed them up to his seminal Harthouse label, who released six singles before the first Koxbox album Forever After. The album was widely recognised and increased the band’s profile considerably. With the success, Koxbox decided to try out their material in front of a live audience and the unit had their debut together with house act Fluke at The Blitz in Denmark. After this experience the London house-boys had to spend quite some time recovering from post-psychedelic stress symptoms. In 1997 Koxbox decided to sign with the London electronica label, Blueroom Released and in November 1997 the album Dragon Tales was released. Dave Fowler pretty much summed up the reaction to the album in Muzik magazine; “Probably the most in-yer-face psychedelic outfit ever, with the possible exception of Brian Jones and his nomadic Moroccan tribesman circa 1967, Danish floor fillers Koxbox are not know for pulling any punches.” The same year saw Koxbox remixes of Juno Reactor and Slinky Wizard and at the same time Frank’e and Ian formed the band Psychopod which released a couple of successful singles on T.I.P. Records. Frank and Ian spent most of the year working on film music and a new album. In the summer of ’99 after some exciting gigs all over the world and after Frank’e having his first child, Koxbox put the finishing touches on a new album The Great Unknown. The Great Unknown was a radical departure from the known Koxbox style, slower and more funky, but retaining the crystalline production and exquisite application of state of the art technology for which the band is known. With the album in hand the duo went to the new successful German trance label, Novatekk, who signed them immediately. The Great Unknown went on to become one of the best selling psy-trance albums of the new millennium, backed with a number of gigs all over the world that established Koxbox as one of the leading bands on the scene. And with the following 12”/CDM “A Major Problem in Australia”, they broke into new markets with a variety of remixes in a progressive trance style. After the success of The Great Unknown, Frank’e and Ian set out to work on the Psychopod project and give it a new spin. After the demise of T.I.P. Records, they decided to take the project in a new, more club oriented direction, while still retaining the original “sound breaker” concept. So the twosome decided to change the name to Saiko-pod. “Saiko” meaning “great” or “the highest” in Japanese. In 2000 and 2001 a number of tracks were released on different compilations to mark the beginning of a new style from the Koxbox lab. In the beginning of 2002 the first Saiko-pod album, “Phutures and Options” was finished and licensed to Spiral Trax (Sweden), Solstice Music (Japan) and Sound Sorcery (Mexico), thus securing that audiences all over the world are able to find the tracks they’ve enjoyed on the dance floor in their local record shop. While finishing Phutures and Options, Frank’e and Ian studio facilities is the cover of the album features a picture of the studio command centre. From this place comes 74 minutes of intelligent trance and downbeat that builds on the Koxbox tradition for punch and innovation. Following the release of Saiko-pod is a number of live gigs and remixes to stun and enjoy. Frank continue working on the new koxbox album U-Turn and were released on Twisted recordings London 2006. Frank played all over the world promoting his new koxbox album. Frank started his new record lable koxbox music and released koxbox rmx like stratusfear and fuel on. Currently working on a new koxbox album.

Hanan Ben Armon aka Didrapest, from the southern city Beer Sheva, situated in Israel. His journey through Trance started in the middle of the 90’s. He collected Trance music on Vinyls, cd’s, and Dat format. And got his first opportunity to play a DJ set at a friends underground open air party, and since then, he satarted to play his famous set’s all around Israel, at clubs, open air parties, festivals, and more. In the begining of the year 2002, Hanan start his interest, in creating and producing electronic music, and he start to build his own studio, and to develop his own style and unique sound that can describe Didrapest identifying mark with his fresh style and energy . Didrapest music style maintaining a solid Psychodelic Trance, fussed carefully with influence from Goa Trance, exciting atmosphere and agressive and uplifting beats, using emotions into the clear and sharp production! In the begining of the year 2006 Didrapest has compiled a compilation for Enigmatic Sound Japan, a successful compilation who got positive response all over the international Psychodelic Trance scene. Didrapest has also collaborated with and remixed for a host of other producers, such as Melicia, Yahel, Indra, Planet Ben, and more. And released is music on international and respected labels, such as Planet Ben, Ftp Music, Enigmatic Sound Japan, Spliff Music, Dacru, Kagdila ,Magma, U.S.T.A, and more. Yana was born in the capital of Russia – Moscow. Her psytrance journey began in 2003. Since 2005 till 2007 she was a resident of one of the biggest Russian promotion group Synthetic Dreams. In autumn 2007 she joined one of the leading Psytrance organization TLN Promotion.
Collecting all the experience and skills, Yana decided to open her own solo project – Z-CaT. She was engaged in writing music with the new concept of combining twisted rhythms and thin vocals. Her tracks always have special ideas, like small stories.
In 2009 she released her EP “Awaken Stories” on portuguese label Ultravision Records and she started traveling and performing. She released many of her tracks on different labels on Compilations. In 2010 she was awarded for the contribution to the development of electronic music in Russia and as The Best Psytrance Dj in Russia.
In 2011 she joined Akida Bookings, international booking agency and after years of travelling and blasting around the world, Z-CAT released her debut album “REFLECTED” in June 2013 from South African label M.M.D.records. Nowadays she is creating new night time psychedelic stompers for different labels and joined Dropland Recordings. Dropland Recordings is a electronic music label based in Barcelona and Ibiza, specialised in psytrance and all its styles. The new Z-cat upcoming release, Ablaze EP will be released by Dropland on May 2014!
Z-Cat, has taken the global psytrance scene by storm, implementing a more globally accessible interpretation on psycho-delics, incorporating elements of night psy, melodic, and even her own vocal samples, giving herself a more unique punchy spin on the genre. Euphoric full power psytrance with a feminine twist!
She played at numerous clubs, open air parties and festivals around the world, in countries such as UK, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Sweden, Israel, Belgium, Guatemala, Romania, Italy, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, India and festivals like Vortex Festival (South Africa), Paramnesia Festival (Mexico), Aurora Festival (Greece), Free Earth Festival (Greece), Transylvania Calling (Romania), Elemental Evolution Festival (Turkey), Rounders (Mexico), Sun Reload Festival (Mexico), Ultra Music Festival (Russia), Universe of Stars (Russia) and others.
