For the 2nd edition, we did many upgrades, we invited very talented team Bamboo Culture to build many beautiful chilling area with only nature materials, and also interesting, like a psychedelic playground. we also upgraded our sound system to “ Funktion One Dance Stack”, even this made me crying a lot and bleeding a lot, but I wish a good sound system can bring people into the trance easier. Maybe we won’t finish everything before February, but we will do our best to make this place better and better. 

I always believe when you do something, you must be 100%concentrate on what you are doing, until you forget time forget your body, and become what you are doing. Then this thing what you created has a soul,  and only with soul it became meaningful. We are not trying to make a big festival and selling a lot of alcohol to make a lot of money, we just wish the people who come here can be connected with their soul. And maybe cover our expenses to make us survive.

This time we chose our artists very carefully, maybe not many famous commercial DJ, but we make sure all their music has spirit, like a good shaman, can lead you to the right way. And bring you back. 

I’m specially touched by a artist “ subconscious mind”, maybe no one heard of him before, but when you listen his music. You feel everything, you feel his happiness his pain. His struggling inside”, this is the kind of music we want to bring to this event. 

For the future, we will make a big gathering once a year, at the beginning of every spring. But we also plan to build a small community, like we will have a music studio on the seaside, we welcome any artists join us and inspired from the nature and create something with spirit.

We also welcome other artists who wanna create some arts here because we have a quite big land. 

And we will also have small psychedelic events on some special day. There is no limits. Anything can happen here. 

On this island, we live a very simple and ancient life, we have no public electricity, we use only solar panels and generators, there is no hot shower, we drink water from a purified well, sometimes we go finishing for food, sometimes just wandering and find some fruits to eat. On this island, no one care about what you have, we only care about who you are. We are still in the process of building more bungalows to receive more people, but you also have the option to just live in a tent( like me). 

So that’s pretty much all I want to say, and in the end , what’s the spirit of psychedelic? I wanna quote something I heard:

 

I don’t know what you want from me ,

I don’t care what you think of me,

But I know there is my soul, and it needs to be free. 

It needs to be free. 

Free from the sick world . 

Free from the haunted past. 

Free from the pain and trauma within. 

Free from what was holding it and keeping it in ghost form. It needs to be released.

Freed.
